Lewistown Clinic Opened July 23, 2008
To better serve our veteran community, the VA has opened a clinic in Lewistown, Montana, to provide healthcare to veterans using our Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) system. Dr. Daniel Dernbach will provide primary care to veterans in this clinic. Primary care services available at the Lewistown CBOC include routine physical examinations, laboratory testing, mail out prescriptions, immunizations, and preventive health maintenance.
Those eligible to participate in the Lewistown CBOC are those veterans in priority groups 1-8a, and 8c. Veterans already enrolled in the VA who are receiving care at other VA CBOCs can transfer their care to providers at the Lewistown clinic. The clinic is located at 629 NE Main Street (Hwy 87), Lewistown, MT 59457
The clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm beginning July 23, 2008. To schedule or cancel an appointment, please call 1-877-468-8387. For questions regarding healthcare, please call the Lewistown Clinic at 406-535-4790. Their fax number is 406-535-4793.
VA Montana Patients to Receive New Appointment Cards
In an effort to put a consistent "face" on VA when we communicate with veterans, VA Montana Healthcare System will implement a new appointment card which will begin August 20, 2008. This card will provide a cost-effective way to send patient reminders. Currently veterans are receiving any one of hundreds of different letters that go out from clinics. The new appointment reminders will be postcard size and sealed for privacy. They will not only have a date and time of appointment, but will also include a map and directions to the specific clinic.
Watch for the new cards in the mail prior to your next appointment.
