From the West

From Highway 12 east, as you approach Helena’s city limit you will see William’s street to your left. Turn onto William’s street and follow this road until you get to the entrance of VAMC Montana.

From the North, East, and South

Take Highway 12 west, continue to follow the road into town until you get to Montana Avenue. Turn right onto Montana Avenue and drive north to east Lyndale Avenue. Turn left onto east Lyndale. This street will eventually become Euclid Avenue and will take you to the west side of Helena’s city limits. At the edge of town, turn right onto William’s street and follow this road until you get to the entrance of VAMC Montana. 

Public Transportation

The only public transportation available to Fort Harrison from within Helena is Capitol Taxi service. Reservations for pick up and drop off may be arranged ahead of time by calling (406) 449-5525. 

DAV Transportation Network

The DAV offers rides to and from the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center from locations throughout the state.  For further information concerning this option, please contact one of the Hospital Service Coordinators shown below. This is a free service for our veterans.
